Moved to HTC HD2
So.
You probably recognize this: the moment you have a new gadget, it is outdated. Great market, because so far I’ve never had a phone for over a year. And, last week made a new record: bought a Blackberry Bold 2 (9700) and within a week it ‘left the building’ for a HTC HD2.
So, was it that bad?
No, it was great. Really great. Good size, great feel of quality, perfect keyboard, fast, excellent battery life and distinctive to others…
So, what’s the deal with this?
Well, of course, BES. I’ve made a miscalculation about the impact of this. First I was mislead by a colague that owned a BB Storm. Somehow he got Exchange working with some workaround. (additional software). But, what I didn’t know that the Storm is working with BIS. And, for BIS you don’t need any additional setting to go online.
With BES, you need your provider to authorise you for this to even go online. (so, even before thinking about exchange). And, working for a large company this became my problem: they won’t turn this on.
So, with pain in my heart I’ve sold (thank god without any loss) the BB and bought the total opposite: a HTC HD2. And yes, come on with your jokes ‘did it come with a trolly’?
well, so far this is an amazing device. fast, the prettiest screen ever and a high gadget-factor somehow.
Let’s see how the gadget-factor scores in duration ,will this be here longer than a year?
